Terms of Use

By using Unsavd you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who we are. Unsavd is operated by Unsavd For Social Media Applications Development & Management, licensed in Dubai, UAE. Contact: [email protected].

2. Using Unsavd. You may use Unsavd for personal, non-commercial use if you are at least 13 (and have a parent's or guardian's permission if you are under 18). You need a Google or Apple account to sign in. Keep your account secure, and give us accurate information.

3. What Unsavd is. A guide to food and hangout spots in Dubai, with videos, menus, directions and a Food Passport. Unsavd is free. We do not sell anything to you, and we do not take payments.

4. Information may be wrong. Spot details, menus, prices, opening hours, locations and "heat" scores come from public sources, creators and our own processes. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check with the venue before you go. We do not guarantee any venue, its quality, safety, availability or prices, and we do not endorse any venue or creator.

5. Videos and creators. Videos belong to their creators and the platforms that host them (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok). We show them through the platforms' official embeds and never download or re-upload them. Your use of an embedded video is also governed by that platform's terms. By using Unsavd you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service for YouTube content, and you can read Google's Privacy Policy. Creators and venues can ask us to remove or correct something at https://unsavd.app/content-policy.

6. Directions and third parties. Directions open in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for them, or for any third-party site or app we link to.

7. What you may not do. Do not misuse Unsavd: no breaking the law, no harassing people, no scraping or copying our data or catalogue in bulk, no interfering with the service or its security, no trying to access other people's accounts, no sending false reports, and no using Unsavd to promote spam or deceptive content.

8. Your content. What you send us (reports, removal requests, messages, your display name) stays yours. You give us permission to use it to run and improve Unsavd and to handle your request. Do not send anything unlawful, offensive, or that belongs to someone else.

9. Our content. The Unsavd app, name, logo, design, stamps, badges and the way we organise the catalogue belong to us or our licensors. You may share your own Food Passport cards and stickers on social media. You may not copy or resell our content or branding.

10. Changes, suspension and ending. We may change, pause or stop parts of Unsavd. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or harms others or the service. You can stop using Unsavd and delete your account at any time (Profile, Settings, Delete account, or https://unsavd.app/delete-account).

11. Limits on our responsibility. Unsavd is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss caused by relying on information in the app, or for events at a venue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Privacy. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Unsavd after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. Please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to solve the problem together.
